Job Description:
AMA is seeking a Senior Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Moffett Field, CA supporting NASA on the Aircraft Systems and Spaceflight Engineering Support Services (ASSESS) contract at NASA Ames Research Center (ARC). Work will be in support of the Systems Analysis Office at

is seeking support for its development of Mission Analysis Design with uncertainty.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate the Cobra C++ OpenVSP custom component in a gradient optimization problem using CBAERO-adjoint solver within the NASA Ames Opensource Condor Optimization software. Lead development of software with novel optimization capabilities.
Desired Skills:
10+ years of demonstrated experience in Python programing 5+ years of experience with Git repository and C++ Ability to work independently and lead a team of 10+ individuals
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering 3+ years of experience with and knowledge of Condor Excellent written and verbal communication skills US citizen or Permanent Resident is required
Salary:
Pay range for this position is $160,000-$195,000, depending on education and experience. Remote work is possible.
