Job Summary:
Eagle Technologies is seeking a motivated and experienced Aircraft Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, certification, and sustainment of aircraft systems throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical or electronic systems engineering and have experience working in the aerospace and prototype aerospace industry. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop and integrate aircraft systems that meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and program objectives for a novel aircraft concept. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities Develop, analyze, and manage aircraft system requirements and architectures. Support the integration of electrical, avionics, software, and mission systems into aircraft platforms. Perform system design, analysis, verification, and validation activities. Develop and review system schematics, interface control documents, and technical specifications. Support aircraft modifications, upgrades, and new development programs. Participate in system-level testing, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations. Coordinate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, quality, and certification teams. Support flight test planning, execution, and data analysis activities. Conduct trade studies and recommend technical solutions. Ensure compliance with applicable FAA, customer, and company requirements. Prepare engineering reports, technical presentations, and design documentation.
Credentials and Experience:
Must be a US Citizen Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in relevant industry. Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Experience with aircraft electrical, avionics, or integrated systems engineering. Strong understanding of system engineering processes and requirements management. Experience generating and reviewing technical documentation. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop practical solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fluid, team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with prototype aircraft, commercial aircraft, rotorcraft, or unmanned systems. Familiarity with aircraft electrical power generation and distribution systems. Experience with avionics integration, communication systems, navigation systems, or mission systems. Familiarity with certification processes and aerospace industry standards.
