Position Overview We are seeking an Aviation Engineer for our SeaTac office to support airport infrastructure projects in the Northwest Mountain region and across the U.S. More specifically, we have some large and exciting projects coming up on the West Coast that you will be involved in. You will be providing engineering and project management support, technical delivery, and potentially client management for aviation projects. In this role, you will have opportunities to work at both commercial service and general aviation airports, and will allow you to interact with customers, FAA/DOT personnel, permitting officials and multi-disciplinary C&S teams. Aviation experience is desired but not a requirement. This industry is an exciting place to work and something unique that some people have not realized is available. Position Responsibilities Leading or supporting the technical delivery of airport development projects in the Northwest Mountain region. Supporting other projects in C&S offices across the country. Engaging with clients to solve problems and improve their airport facilities. Leading or supporting the communication with clients, FAA and other project stakeholders. Leading or supporting internal team of design professionals to deliver exciting projects for our clients. Coordinating with sub-consultants and multi-discipline teams throughout design and construction. Administration and oversight of the construction of our designed projects. Construction observation duties to ensure contract documents are followed. Skills/Education/Experience 5-10 years of engineering and/or project management experience in airfield design/construction or other similar field Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering and a passion for lifelong learning, or similar technical degree Solid analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills Strong teamwork and communications skills Resourceful and self-motivated Ability to set deadlines, manage resources, monitor/summarize project progress Solid organizational skills with a focus on details Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D Existing relationships with strategic clients a plus Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits $ 105,000 - $135,000/year•Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills Learn about our comprehensive Benefits
