$200,000 + annual performance bonus Element Six is partnering with a specialist wholesale power provider to bring on a Director to lead its Power Supply team and commercial negotiations for powered land across the West Coast and Southeast. You'll sit on the buy side, working directly with developers, IPPs, and asset owners to secure the generation needed to serve utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, and large energy users, on a lean commercial team where you'll need to be comfortable in negotiation, structuring, and being proactive. What you'll be doing? Lead PPA and energy offtake negotiations from term sheet through execution. Work directly with IPPs, developers, asset owners and power marketers. Originate and evaluate solar, wind, standalone BESS and thermal-backed supply opportunities. Manage multiple active negotiations while continuing to develop the wider supply pipeline. Assess project economics, interconnection position, commercial risk and counterparty strength. Work across legal, finance, risk, credit and technical teams to move transactions forward. What we're looking for? 5+ years of experience working on Power Purchase Agreements You'll likely come from an IPP, developer, power marketer, energy supplier, or similar environment. Experience taking transactions beyond initial origination and into negotiation and execution. A strong understanding of wholesale power markets, ideally including Western US markets, SPP or WECC.
