The Opportunity We are hiring a high-output, self-directed Sr. Account Manager (SAM) to own a portfolio of accounts and help grow our business in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan. This position will be directly responsible for managing client relationships by facilitating delivery of services, ensuring customer satisfaction, quoting new business, and expanding key accounts.
Responsibilities:
Effectively maintain and retain existing customers by building effective long-term relationships and customer loyalty Assist with response to inbound inquiries from prospects to help establish new hazardous and non-hazardous waste accounts Build and maintain an account development pipeline Grow strategic industrial accounts across key verticals Sell custom wastewater and disposalsolutions leveraging ENCON's full capabilities Generate waste profiles, shipping paperwork, and coordinate with drivers and technicians to schedule and execute jobs Manage quotes, contracts, and customer communication Ensure compliance with EPA, RCRA, DOT, TSCA, state and all relevant regulations including assisting with filing monthly, quarterly, annual reports as needed. Represent ENCON/Apollos at customer sites, industry events, and trade shows while acting as a trusted advisor
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in environmental services, waste management, or industrial operations. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related fields is preferred. Working knowledge of industrial wastewater, EPA, RCRA, DOT, TSCA and state environmental regulations. Strong consultative sales and/or account management background with proven results. A proactive self-starter who takes ownership and drives results with urgency. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency Valid driver's license required Why Apollos Competitive base pay plus uncapped performance incentives. $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
