Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Program Manager - Energy Efficiency for a hybrid position (minimum three days per week in office or in the field) with a Major Utility Company located in Newark, NJ.
This is a contract opportunity.
This role provides program management oversight for Multifamily energy efficiency projects, ensuringpliance with scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain implementation processes, interface with associates, vendors, and customers, and knowledge of energy savings measures to ensure project success and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with approved requirements
Interface withpany associates, vendors, customers, and outside consultants to assure program rules and requirements are maintained and projects are cost effective
Develop and customize customer project proposals to maximize incentives and energy savings
Coordinate and direct the activities of business development, trade allies, and vendors
Review vendor deliverables, monitor vendor performance, and review/process vendor invoices
Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required
Perform project site visits as required
Compile and analyze data from various projects to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management
Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction
Ensure vendor and employeepliance with safety protocols and practices
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields OR in lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience in a related field
- Experience processing milestone-based construction payments and forecasting financial spend
- Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, implementation, and cost
- Demonstrated excellentmunication skills (oral and written)
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word)
- Commitment to process improvement and attention to detail
- Able to travel within the client's service territory to conduct meetings, perform inspections, and manage relationships with contractors
- Valid US driver's license
