This role leads the identification, development, and implementation of conservation strategies, operational excellence programs, and capital projects that reduce utility consumption, improve sustainability performance, lower operating costs, and support decarbonization objectives. The position serves as the primary liaison between corporate energy strategy teams and plant operations. Plant Engagement & Operational Excellence Serve as the liaison between corporate energy strategy and manufacturing sites. Support plant Energy Conservation Engineers (ECEs) and facility teams. Lead energy treasure hunts and operational assessments. Develop and deploy best practices across manufacturing facilities. Drive accountability through shutdown performance reviews and operational metrics. Performance Management & Analytics Monitor energy and water consumption trends and identify optimization opportunities. Utilize metering, utility, and operational data to support decision-making. Track savings, project performance, and reduction targets. Partner with data analytics teams to improve visibility through dashboards and reporting tools. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Sustainability, Finance, ICC, GMIT, Facilities, and external utility partners. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of utility systems, industrial processes, and energy management practices.
