$41.73 Position Summary Works under minimal supervision of the Clinical Engineering Manager. Performs the specific duties required of the team which s/he is assigned. Possess an expert level of knowledge and experience in most facets of the job and functions. Able to consult and train level 1, 2 and 3 technicians on diagnosing problems, implementing solutions and optimizing processes. Demonstrates sense of urgency and ownership, high degree of self-motivation, commitment, integrity and workmanship. Is committed to providing excellent customer support to our physicians, staff and business partners. May perform other duties as assigned. Standard Work:
Biomedical Engineer Consultant (PRN) Consult level 1, 2 and 3 technicians on diagnosing problems, implementing solutions and optimizing processes Train level 1, 2 and 3 technicians on diagnosing problems, implementing solutions and optimizing processes Possesses understanding and skills related to general electro-mechanical systems and devices Possesses understanding of common clinical terminology as well as that of life sciences such as anatomy and physiology. Perform a comprehensive level of testing and troubleshooting of medical devices involving specialized and generic test equipment and software diagnostic tools. Ability to learn and teach advanced equipment maintenance, operating procedures, and repair procedures from training materials and courses
