Under direct supervision, UHSHTM BMET
performs: evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance of devices used in the care and treatment of patients at assigned UHS facilities. Can perform preventative maintenance (PM) or operational verification procedure (OVP) on 15% of the device types in inventory. Can repair 15% of the device types in inventory unassisted. Focuses performance to ensure the safest and best possible patient experience. Delivers exceptional service to all customers that meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements and compliance. Assists in developing and strengthening facility and vendor relationships. Meets all established key performance indicator (KPI) requirements.
