In this role, you will deliver engaging, comprehensive instruction in medical imaging techniques, ultrasound technology, and anatomy, ensuring students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Your expertise will help shape competent, confident sonographers ready to excel in clinical environments. Teach students for Abdominal/Echocardiography/Ob & Gyn. Develop and deliver innovative curriculum content aligned with current ARDMS standards, integrating anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Supervise students during laboratory sessions, clinical rotations, and simulated practice to ensure safety and skill development. Guide students through clinical research projects, including data collection, documentation review, and analysis related to ultrasound applications. Collaborate with hospital staff and clinical partners to coordinate clinical trials and patient care simulations that enhance experiential learning. Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical exams, and classroom participation; provide constructive feedback for improvement. Maintain accurate documentation of student records, course activities, and compliance with accreditation standards. Bachelor's or higher degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related healthcare field; advanced degrees preferred. ARDMS license in Abdominal/Echocardiography/Ob & Gyn 1-2 years teaching experience in higher education settings with adult learners; prior university teaching experience is advantageous. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology (including animal physiology), medical terminology, and ultrasound technology. Supervising experience in clinical or laboratory environments with a focus on patient care critical care is highly desirable. Familiarity with learning technology platforms such as Blackboard or similar LMS tools for course management. Experience with curriculum development, classroom instruction, and laboratory supervision within healthcare education programs. Knowledge of clinical research processes, including documentation review and working within hospital or acute care settings. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds; experience working with pediatrics is a plus.
