Job Description
A&B Outdoor Furniture and Accessories | West Fork, Arkansas Part-Time | Approximately 15-25 Hours/Week | On-Site A&B Outdoor Furniture and Accessories is looking for a part-time CAD / Manufacturing Draftsperson to support our growing manufacturing operation in West Fork, Arkansas. This is a great opportunity for someone with Fusion 360 experience who wants to apply their CAD skills in a real-world manufacturing environment. We have an established library of products and digital models and are continuing to improve how those designs translate into accurate, repeatable manufacturing processes on our production floor. The initial focus of this position is straightforward: help us maintain, improve, and expand our Fusion 360 product library and turn designs into clear, production-ready information for our manufacturing team. This could be an excellent fit for an engineering or CAD student, recent graduate, experienced draftsperson looking for part-time work, or someone interested in growing their skills within a hands-on manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Create, update, and maintain product models using Fusion 360 . Develop accurate production drawings, dimensions, cut sheets, and other manufacturing documentation. Update existing product models as designs, materials, or manufacturing methods change. Maintain organized digital files, revisions, and product documentation. Work directly with experienced builders and production employees to understand how products are manufactured. Help translate shop-floor knowledge into accurate drawings and repeatable manufacturing documentation. Review drawings and documentation with Production to ensure they are practical and usable on the manufacturing floor. Support new-product and custom-product drawings as needed. Identify opportunities to simplify drawings, components, or manufacturing processes. Assist with other CAD and manufacturing documentation projects based on business needs. What We're Looking For Working knowledge of Fusion 360 is required . Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to understand dimensions, measurements, assemblies, and basic manufacturing concepts. Comfortable communicating and working with hands-on manufacturing employees. Organized and capable of maintaining drawings, revisions, and digital files. Ability to take an existing product or concept and translate it into clear manufacturing documentation. Curious, willing to learn, and comfortable solving problems. Able to work independently while also collaborating with Production and company leadership. Experience with woodworking, cabinetry, fabrication, plastics, furniture manufacturing, or another hands-on manufacturing environment is a plus but not required . Additional Skills That Are a Plus We're primarily hiring for Fusion 360 and drafting capability today , but there is significant opportunity for this position to grow.
