Job Description:

Position OverviewThe CAD Designer is responsible for designing dental restorations using digital workflows and CAD software. This role works closely with production teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality from design through final output.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and able to manage multiple cases while maintaining precision.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign dental restorations including crowns, bridges, implants, and dentures using CAD softwareInterpret prescriptions, scans, and digital impressions to create accurate designsEnsure designs meet functional and esthetic requirementsCollaborate with production and 3D printing teams to ensure seamless case flowPerform quality checks on designs prior to productionMake adjustments and revisions based on feedback or case requirementsMaintain organized digital files and case documentationMeet daily production goals and turnaround time expectationsTroubleshoot design issues and support workflow improvementsRequired Qualifications2+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably in a dental laboratory environmentProficiency with dental CAD software (e.g., Exocad, 3Shape, or similar)Strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environmentBasic understanding of dental anatomy and occlusionPreferred QualificationsExperience in a dental laboratory or digital dentistry environmentFamiliarity with 3D printing and CAD/CAM workflowsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleDesigns are accurate, consistent, and production-readyCases move efficiently from design to manufacturingMinimal rework due to high-quality outputStrong collaboration across digital and production teams recblid tbp565opopfifldf6ilrdmwstrc8gz
