About the Role Solid Design & Planning is seeking a Drafter / Architectural Designer to join our Los Angeles office. This role focuses on producing complete, coordinated construction document sets efficiently across multiple residential and small-scale commercial projects. We operate in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to take ownership of their work without constant oversight . Key Responsibilities Produce full construction document sets (plans, elevations, details) Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and other disciplines Review and QC drawings before submission to ensure accuracy and completeness Implement redlines efficiently and correctly Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently Requirements Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (required) Experience producing complete construction document sets Solid understanding of construction detailing and drawing standards Familiarity with local building codes (Los Angeles preferred) High attention to detail and ability to self-check work Ability to work efficiently under deadlines without constant supervision Preferred Experience with ADUs, residential remodels, or permitting sets Revit, SketchUp, or Rhino experience How to Apply Please submit: Resume Portfolio (construction drawings required) 1-2 full construction document sets you have produced Important This role requires accuracy, accountability, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
