In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive steel shop drawings, ensuring seamless communication between design, fabrication, and erection teams. Your expertise will help bring complex structural projects to life with accuracy, efficiency, and clarity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure and commercial developments, utilizing cutting-edge design software and innovative techniques. Responsibilities Develop detailed steel shop drawings based on architectural and structural plans using AutoCAD software. Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, fabricators, and project managers to interpret design intent and technical specifications. Generate accurate schematics, system designs, and fabrication details that facilitate smooth manufacturing and installation processes. Utilize advanced drafting tools such as AutoCAD to produce precise models and drawings. Review project specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations while maintaining high-quality standards. Coordinate revisions and updates efficiently using Bluebeam for markup management and version control. Support the integration of 3D animation or graphic design elements when needed for client presentations or project documentation. Skills Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD. Strong understanding of schematics, system design principles, construction processes, and drafting techniques. Experience with structural steel detailing for large-scale projects such as bridges, commercial buildings, or industrial facilities. Knowledge of construction safety standards and industry regulations related to steel fabrication and erection. Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications accurately. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Additional skills in graphic design, mechanical design, interior design or 2D animation are a plus to enhance project versatility.
