  • AECOM is seeking a
  • Senior CADD/BrIM Technician /Bridge Designer
  • to be based in AECOM's San Francisco office to work on exciting local, regional, and national projects.
  • The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • + Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff.
+ Primary focus is Civil Engineering CADD for bridges and other structural projects. + Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety, and/or code requirements. + Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation. + General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. + Performs routine duties; viewed as fully competent within limits of experience. + Performs complex CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production in support of the CADD manager. + Performs advanced applications, scale and edit assignments involving the use of computer aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines. + Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation. + Decisions made with general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. + Responsible for setting own project deadlines. + Understands the implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. + May lead less experienced drafters.
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • + Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or education. + Ability to pass MVR check + traditional background screening process.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • + 8+ years of experience with Bridge Structures Design + Bentley Microstation and Autocad proficient + Proficient in BrIM workflows + Ability to communicate and work in a team environment + CADD Management experience a plus

  • Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $100000 to $155000.
