In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise, detailed CAD drawings and 3D models for custom cabinetry, furniture, and interior systems using advanced CAD software. Your expertise will help translate conceptual designs into accurate construction documents, ensuring seamless communication between design, engineering, and production teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while honing your drafting skills within a collaborative environment that values precision and creativity. Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for cabinetry, millwork, and interior systems using software such as Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD Create accurate construction detail documentation to support manufacturing and installation processes Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project managers to interpret schematics, specifications, and client requirements Utilize building information modeling (BIM) tools to ensure building code compliance and facilitate system integration Incorporate technical standards and building codes into all drafting work to maintain high-quality documentation Assist in the development of system designs, schematics, and graphic representations for various projects Review and revise drawings based on feedback to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines Skills Proficiency in CAD software such as Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks Strong knowledge of 3D CAD modeling and building information modeling (BIM) tools Experience with construction detail documentation and construction experience is highly desirable Familiarity with building code analysis and compliance requirements in architectural or engineering contexts Skilled in drafting techniques related to interior design, mechanical design, system design, and graphic visualization Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and engineering specifications accurately Knowledge of 3D modeling software including SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino), 3ds Max or similar platforms is a plus Join us if you're passionate about transforming creative concepts into precise technical drawings!
