About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Bilingual in Mandarin-Chinese Architectural Drafter/Designer . Our company primarily works on AutoCAD to complete construction schematics to prepare for city or county approval. Knowledge of municipal building codes is necessary as well. Here are a few responsibilities you would expect:

Job Responsibility:

Drafting plans, preparing and delivering architectural drawings to the city. Check with the city/county and any other related organizations to answer client consultations. Ability to manage time and workload in order to meet project deadlines and commitments with periodic interaction and direction from project leaders; Liaise with city/county authorities and related organizations, promptly following through with planning submissions, correction discussions, resubmissions, and permit submissions; Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques; Travel as required and support the design department or construction site with all other responsibilities; Support marketing department with project-related work; Other Duties as assigned;

Job Qualifications:

A U.S. bachelor's degree in architecture or a related Design field is (Required) At least 1-year hands on experiences in handling permits and communicating with the city/county (Required) At least 1-year hands on experiences in handling building codes (Required) At least 2-year U.S. architectural drafter-related work experience (Preferred) Project Management Experience (Preferred) Experience in Autodesk Revit / Auto

Max, Sketch-up, Microsoft Office Suite (Required) General knowledge of U.S. architectural practice, including site planning, civil, and codes, is required Experience in design development, architectural design, documentation, and detailing on a wide variety of projects, residential experience preferred Excellent communication, strong problem-solving, and organizational skills preferred Must have California Driver's License and a reliable vehicle
