Santa Ana, CA - On-site Our client is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to join their manufacturing and production team in Santa Ana, California. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity supporting commercial canopy, awning, and architectural shade structure projects throughout California. Compensation:

$65,000-$75,000, based on experience Annual Bonus Medical and Dental insurance 401k Paid Time Off A Day in the Life of the AutoCAD Drafter In this role, you'll support the production and manufacturing workflow by creating and revising detailed 2D shop drawings for custom commercial fabric structures. You'll collaborate closely with experienced drafters, sales teams, and project managers to ensure drawings are accurate, organized, and fabrication-ready. This position plays an important role in helping projects move efficiently from design to manufacturing and installation.

Responsibilities include:

Create, edit, and review 2D shop drawings using AutoCAD Translate architectural plans, sketches, and markups into clear, build-ready drawings Revise drawings based on internal and external feedback Maintain drawing standards, accuracy, and version control Assist with material take-offs and manufacturing preparation Coordinate with sales and project management teams to support project timelines Support production workflows through organized drafting and documentation practices

Requirements and Qualifications:

3+ years of CAD drafting knowledge/experience (can include education + practical exposure) Proficiency in 2D & 3D AutoCAD Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings Experience working from redlines, markups, and revisions Familiarity with SketchUp or other modeling tools Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Strong attention to detail and organizational skills About the
