Drafter/Designer - FT Days

Working independently and under minimal direction, the Drafter/Designer uses AutoCAD equipment and software to prepare clear, complete, and accurate drawings of all facilities; conduct field verifications; and prepare working drawing backgrounds/details for construction projects and input per marked-up drawings. The position is responsible for maintaining all hardcopy drawing files, all CAD files, all emergency notebook drawings/information, and building square footage. Ability to do area and square footage calculations as well as percentages. Organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Good listening skills and ability to follow verbal communications and directions. Good physical and mental health. Ability to dexterously climb ladders and climb onto roofs, inspect equipment rooms, walk sites and verify measurements. Computer proficient in Windows, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and AutoCAD Architecture. Ability to read, write and verbalize at a high level. Bilingual in Spanish/Chinese preferred.

Required Experience Required:

High School Diploma. Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school, or higher Knowledge of Building codes. Valid California driver's license and personal vehicle for transportation to offsite locations. Experience with Adobe Illustrator Five (5) years experience working with AutoCAD 2004-2015 and Architectural Desktop 3.3, architecture drawing and construction documents
