CAD Designer

SolidWorks 2+ Month Contract $30
50 per hour
(1099/C2C) Orlando, Florida Monday
Friday Are you a CAD Designer with SolidWorks experience?

Are you looking for an immediately available, days-based contract role supporting advanced engineering and simulation systems? You will be responsible for updating existing 3D CAD models and engineering documentation to support hardware upgrades, technology refresh initiatives, and configuration changes across complex technical systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist engineering team delivering high-profile programmes, where you'll work closely with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure design updates are accurately captured and documented. You'll play a key role in maintaining configuration-controlled designs, updating legacy assemblies, and producing technical documentation used throughout the engineering review process. The Role Update existing 3D CAD models to reflect approved hardware and configuration changes using SolidWorks Revise engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation packages Generate rendered views and technical imagery for design reviews and customer presentations Support engineering teams by maintaining accurate configuration-controlled design records The Person Experience using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) within defence, aerospace, simulation, electronics, or industrial engineering environments Strong understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, and revision-controlled documentation Experience updating and maintaining existing assemblies and designs rather than greenfield product development Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote environment Happy to work on a 1099/C2C basis
