AutoCAD Drafter

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings that support various construction, architectural, and engineering projects. Your expertise in drafting software and design tools will be vital in translating concepts into clear, accurate plans that guide project execution. Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD software to meet project specifications and standards. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to interpret design concepts. Prepare construction documents, system designs, interior layouts, and roof drawings with accuracy and clarity. Utilize SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, and 3ds Max as needed to enhance design visualization. Review and revise drawings based on feedback to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry codes. Assist in creating graphic designs for presentations or client proposals when required. Maintain organized digital files of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation for easy access and version control. Experience Proven experience working with AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with other CAD platforms such as Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of drafting standards across construction, mechanical design, interior design, and system design disciplines. Experience creating schematics, technical drawings, construction plans, or interior layouts for commercial or residential projects. Skilled in utilizing graphic design tools and techniques for visual presentations or animations (2D animation experience is a plus). Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate digital models. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in all aspects of drafting work.
