Product Measurement & CAD Specialist Viva Houses Beyond Clearwater, FL Job Details Full-time $15 - $21 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Measurement-based inspection Spanish CMM laser scanning Monitoring dimensions English Manufacturing facility Dimensional measurements Attention to detail Manufacturing Field data collection Full Job Description Role Overview We are looking for a Product Measurement & CAD Specialist who can bridge the physical and digital worlds. This role involves taking precise measurements of products, components, or installations and converting them into accurate CAD drawings and digital models. You'll be responsible for ensuring that every detail captured in the field is reflected flawlessly in the final design files. Key Responsibilities Perform on-site measurements using tape measures, calipers, laser tools, or other precision instruments Translate measurements into CAD models with high accuracy Recreate or duplicate existing products in digital form for fabrication or documentation Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet project requirements Prepare production-ready drawings including dimensions, notes, and specifications Maintain organized digital files and version control for all design work Required Skills & Experience Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) Strong measurement skills and comfort working in the field Ability to interpret and replicate physical products accurately Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills and ability to follow technical instructions Be able to speak English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or product design Familiarity with both 2D drafting and 3D modeling Understanding of materials, tolerances, and production processes What This Role Offers You'll play a key role in transforming real-world objects into precise digital designs that guide production. Your work becomes the foundation for fabrication, installation, and quality control — making you an essential part of the workflow.
Pay:
$15.00 - $21.00 per hour
