This position supports the team by translating custom hospitality design concepts into accurate, detailed technical drawings. The role requires proficiency in CAD software, attention to detail, adherence to standards, and effective collaboration with the team. Knowledge of furniture assembly is a plus but not a requirement. Essential Functions Responsibilities will include but be not limited to: Utilize CAD software to produce detailed and accurate factory drawings from design specifications. Ensure drawings comply with company drafting standards, industry codes, and applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain document control, versioning, and archive systems for all CAD files. Create new drawings and update existing drawings with client and internal changes Adapt, learn, and grow with the department as drawing standards are updated.
Essential Skills:
Ability to self-manage priorities and timelines Critical thinker and problem solver Ability to work independently. Previous experience working with furniture manufacturing is a plus. Proven experience as a CAD Operator or equivalent role in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc) and a strong understanding of 2D drafting and 3D modeling. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in workmanship. Effective communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally with team members

Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate proficiency in creating manufacturing-ready shop drawings during the interview process.
