This role is responsible for creating detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for API, ASME, and UL-rated storage tanks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tank design, strong knowledge of industry codes and standards, and advanced proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers, fabricators, quality assurance personnel, and project managers to deliver accurate and production-ready design packages while supporting continuous improvement and design automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for atmospheric and pressure-rated storage tanks Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) including structural, mechanical, and welded components Design and detail tanks in accordance with:

API 650, API

620, and API 653 standards ASME Section VIII requirements UL-142 and UL-2085 standards Apply

welding codes and symbols to fabrication drawings Review and revise drawing packages based on engineering changes, fabrication feedback, and field conditions Coordinate with fabrication, engineering, and QA teams to resolve production and design-related issues Support design standardization and automation initiatives using Autodesk Inventor iLogic Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control, and documentation standards Assist in developing and improving design templates, workflows, and best practices

QualificationsRequired:

5+ years of experience designing API, ASME, or UL-rated storage tanks Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Strong understanding of storage tank fabrication and manufacturing processes Ability to interpret and apply AWS welding symbols and standards Working knowledge of API, ASME, and UL design requirements Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred:
