Job Description
SAL Aerospace Technologies is looking for an experienced SolidWorks Designer with strong mechanical design and manufacturing knowledge. We are NOT looking for a basic CAD operator. We need someone who can take a concept, sketch, existing component, or physical sample and develop it into a complete 3D model and production-ready engineering drawing.
Required Skills:
- Advanced SolidWorks 3D modeling
- Parts and complex assemblies
- 2D manufacturing/engineering drawings
- GD&T, tolerances, fits and clearances
- Reverse engineering from existing components
- Sheet metal, weldments and surface modeling
- Tooling, fixtures and mechanical equipment design
- BOMs, exploded views and configurations
- Understanding of CNC machining and fabrication
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
- Ability to work from drawings, specifications and physical components Aerospace, aviation, precision machining, tooling, test equipment, hydraulic or mechanical design experience is a major plus.
Pay:
$25.00- $35.
