Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD software and possess a strong understanding of design principles. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and plans that support our civil engineering projects. Responsibilities Develop and produce detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD software. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications. Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards in all technical drawings. Modify existing designs based on feedback from team members or clients. Assist in the preparation of project documentation including specifications. Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documentation. Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions. Must be flexible in tasks required for projects Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD software. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Previous experience in a similar role or relevant educational background in engineering is preferred. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
