Job Description
AutoCAD/Electrical Designer or Drafter contract to hire Tampa FL Onsite Position Summary Seeking a Designer to support utility distribution design projects in the Tampa market, with a focus on preparing detailed construction drawings, supporting engineering calculations, and ensuring designs meet applicable standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate brings electrical distribution design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS tools, and the ability to support overhead and underground design projects in a fast-paced project environment. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in electrical distribution design or a related design environment.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS for utility or infrastructure design.
- Knowledge of overhead and underground electrical distribution design principles.
- Understanding of regulations, codes, and standards.
- Strong math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete assignments independently.
