- What You'll Be Doing
- Job Summary:
- Uses specialized software to turn rough sketches, notes, and engineer concepts into accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings and models for construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects.
- Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Drawing Production:
- Create detailed plans, layouts, and cross-sections using AutoCAD. +
- Design Translation:
- Turn rough hand sketches, redlines, or verbal directions from engineers and architects into final visual documents. +
- Revisions:
- Update existing drawings based on client feedback, test results, or team redlines. +
- Collaboration:
- Meet with project managers, engineers, and construction crews to ensure designs are practical and accurate. +
- File Management:
- Organize, label, and maintain digital drawing libraries and project records.
- Ideal Background
- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting is preferred.
- Certification:
- Certification is not required at this level.
- Experience:
- This position requires up to 2 years of relevant industrial experience in drafting and design or related coursework.

Software Proficiency:
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD +
- Technical Knowledge:
- Ability to read blueprints, understand basic engineering metrics, and follow industry standards. +
- Education:
- Associate's degree in drafting, engineering design, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).

- + Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
