Job Description

Job Purpose Summary:
The CAD Technician is responsible for prioritizing, creating, maintaining and accepting work that is up to TKNS standards and within the expected timelines. Managing the work processes from the Field Engineer Notes through the hand-off for permitting, including management of out-sourced CAD work.
Performance Measurable:
Position will be measured by the quality and timeliness of job tasks, work flow, effectiveness of communication with superiors, co-workers and customers, and behaviors displayed in accordance with our Company's Core Values.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Work closely with Team in prioritizing workload, including outsourced work. Seek resolution assistance prior to missing due dates. Work closely with Team in assuring efficient workflow and communication from Field Engineering Notes through hand-off to permitting. Assure CAD drawings meet TurnKey and Customer specific CAD standards. Create CAD prints suitable for permitting and construction from engineering field notes. Establish accurate material lists. Maintain standards and timeliness with
TKNS CAD
revisions. Review prints for accuracy prior to sending them forward in the process. Seek assistance when you have concerns or questions about your quality of work, including the engineering data you are receiving, the value-added content for construction, or accurate CAD standards. Ensure that the deliverables and the tasks are completed on time and meet the client's QA requirements.
