Job Description
Bring your AutoCAD expertise to a fast-growing kitchen and bath environment in the northern Chicago suburbs where design details turn into real, build-ready cabinetry and millwork. In this C AD Drafter - Custom Cabinetry opportunity, you'll support designers with accurate drawings and help ensure projects move smoothly from measurements to ordering. Qualifications and responsibilities for this C AD Drafter - Custom Cabinetry position include: 3+ years of kitchen and bath CAD drafting experience specifically involving custom cabinetry and/or architectural millwork (AutoCAD required). Proficiency in AutoCAD to produce detailed, production-ready drawings. Ability to translate designer-provided field measurements into accurate technical drawings. Experience working with custom cabinetry and millwork specifications, dimensions, and layouts. Coordinate order details to help ensure cabinetry is ordered accurately. Review drawings and order information to catch dimensional or specification issues before submission. Communicate with designers and team members to resolve missing or conflicting information. Work onsite every day and maintain strong accuracy as project volume increases.
