Trumpf is seeking candidates for an onsite internship in our Flexible Systems Department at our Hoffman Estates, IL location. This internship will provide a college-level student with practical and professional experience that will enhance and compliment their classroom learning.
Internship Duration:
Onsite in Hoffman Estates, IL from January 2027 - August 2027 At least 24 hours weekly
Principles Roles & Responsibilities:
Support layout engineers; prepare layout and foundation drawings Process buildings scans Prepare system 3D assemblies Prepare 2D Layout and foundation drawings Create technical documentation: System configuration overview (e.g. LiftMaster, Tube Storage) Prepare guidelines for layout process Support with technical library: Create SmartSheet Dashboard to allow easy entry of topics Create work instruction
Pay Range:
$18-$25
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required. Strong inter-personal communication skills Ability to work as a team player. AutoCAD, SolidWorks - 3D modeling software Microsoft Office Good technical understanding of process flows
