Job Description

MAC Medical is known for having a team culture that works together and inspires us to be better! We are a family owned and operated business founded in 1998 which builds American made medical equipment. In 2020, our growing business started Cooperworks Industries, a plastic laminate cabinet company. Join our team and grow with us! CAD Designer The CAD Designer is responsible for creating formal detailed piece part and assembly drawings from preliminary sketches, specifications, and other engineering input utilizing SolidWorks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Utilize and incorporate engineering and manufacturing standards. Assist engineers in 3D modeling, drawing creation, process documentation and work instructions. Work with Sales with initial concept approval drawings. Prepare bills of material (BOM's) for specific designs as they are developed and detailed. Work in a team environment. Communicate effectively to team and manufacturing personnel.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Associates Degree or equivalent education and experience. Minimum two years' experience in drafting and design support. Proficient in SolidWorks. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Not Required but a plus Experience with sheet metal design and manufacturing (especially Stainless Steel) Familiarity with weld symbols and welding specifications SolidWorks PDM admin experience Experience with ERP systems and product data management.

Starting Salary:
$60,000-70,000 annually or higher depending on experience. Equal Opportunity Employer
