Job Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented
BIM & CAD
Drafter to support the development of technical drawings, construction documents, and building information models for audiovisual, ICT, SSA, construction, and architectural projects. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, technically skilled, and comfortable collaborating with designers, engineers, architects, and project managers in a fast-paced project environment. Drafter will create and maintain detailed technical drawings and BIM models under the guidance of a Designer or Senior Design Consultant. This position plays an important role in translating design intent, client requirements, and project specifications into accurate, coordinated documentation that supports successful project delivery. What You'll Do- Develop and update technical drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, single-line diagrams, and 3D models using CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate with project teams to integrate audiovisual, ICT, and SSA elements into comprehensive BIM models.
- Review design documents, specifications, and client requirements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Prepare deliverable documents to the PSX standard level of detail.
- Maintain project documentation and manage drawing revisions throughout the design and construction process.
- Assist with clash detection and coordination within BIM environments to support efficient project outcomes.
- Support designers and engineers with drafting, modeling, and documentation tasks as needed. What We're Looking For
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM/CAD software.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and architectural principles.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with BIM coordination is preferred.
