Senior Designer

Senior Designer responsible for producing heavy industrial structural design models and construction documents for concrete and steel systems in an onsite project environment. Job Requirements 10-15+ years of experience in structural design Minimum 5-15 years of experience in heavy industrial structural design and layout Experience preparing concrete and steel design documents Experience developing engineering sketches into full construction documents including plans, sections, and details Experience creating 3D models of concrete and steel structures Proficiency in Bentley ProStructures Proficiency in AutoCAD Proficiency in Autodesk Advance Steel Proficiency in CADWorx Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D Experience with Autodesk Advance Steel Experience working onsite Experience coordinating structural drawings with other disciplines Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols Preferred Skills Experience on large heavy industrial or mining projects Experience establishing and maintaining CAD standards Experience contributing to Project Execution Plans Experience driving project CAD setup activities Experience developing design interfaces with other disciplines Experience improving CAD standards and workflows Strong understanding of concrete and steel construction documentation Job Responsibilities Create full concrete and steel construction models and documents Prepare structural design documents in support of engineering teams Develop plans, sections, and details from engineering sketches Coordinate structural drawings with other disciplines for compliance, alignment, and accuracy Establish, document, implement, and improve CAD standards of practice Contribute to Project Execution Plans Lead project CAD setup activities Ensure design deliverables comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements Support collaboration and procedural design interfaces with other disciplines Produce accurate structural layouts and detailed construction documentation for heavy industrial projects
