Design Assistant Looking for a meaningful place to grow your design skills and contribute to work with real impact? East Branch Studio is a small, collaborative design/build company dedicated to creating high-performance homes and advancing climate-conscious building practices. For over 30 years, we have specialized in energy-efficient, net zero homes, Passive House construction, and deep energy retrofits using sustainable building methods and materials. We are passionate about thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and building solutions that respond to climate change through the built environment. We are currently seeking a Design Assistant with strong CAD and/or Revit experience to support our team in developing schematic designs, design development drawings, pricing sets, and construction documents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in high-performance residential design and integrated design/build practice. Position Details Part-time or full-time Hybrid flexibility available, though candidates should expect to work primarily from our office in West Chesterfield, MA Pay based on experience: $25-30/hour Experience with CAD and/or Revit are required We are looking for someone who: Works well collaboratively within a small team Is organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn Has an interest in sustainable and high-performance building practices Communicates clearly and contributes positively to a shared mission We offer paid holidays, accrued paid vacation, IRA with company matching, and a friendly, stimulating environment with a strong commitment to our mission.
