• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers to produce high-quality drafts that meet project specifications. General Description Creates technical documentation required to clearly direct production in the manufacturing and assembly of Lighting products (Component, Assembly, and Bill of Materials, etc.). Works independently and in teams having ownership of tasks and accountability for results. Creates clear and accurate mechanical drawings (CAD), assembly documentation, bill of materials, wiring diagrams, BIM Models and all other required engineering content necessary to serve internal and external customers. Requirements Vocational/Technical concentration and/or Associate degree in Engineering or comparable field of study. Proficient with SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Methodical and detail-oriented planner and problem-solver Makes commitments to deadlines and then delivers to commitments Follows directions accurately Good math and reading skills Creates and maintains organized documentation Able to work independently and part of a team Able to Identify problems and make informed decisions Desirable Working knowledge of the Lighting industry codes and standards (Underwriters Laboratories, National Electric Code, National Fire Prevention Association, or other). Professional experience in the Lighting Industry or adjacent industry. Working knowledge of materials, processes, and assembly. Experience in the creation of BIM models. Experience in Sustaining Engineering Vocational and Technical Graduates are
