Revit Technician

Position Overview:

MC is seeking a motivated Revit Technician to join our growing structural engineering team. Both experienced professionals and entry-level candidates with strong Revit skills are encouraged to apply. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, supporting structural engineers in the development of high-quality construction documents while growing technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain structural models using Revit . Prepare structural drawings and construction documents for permit and construction. Implement redlines and design changes provided by project engineers. Coordinate structural models and drawings with architects and other consultants. Assist with setup and maintenance of Revit project templates, families, and standards. Support construction administration tasks, including shop drawing coordination, as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Degree or coursework in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proficiency in Revit for structural modeling and documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established drafting standards. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a structural engineering office environment. Familiarity with structural systems such as steel, concrete, masonry, and wood framing. Experience coordinating models within multidisciplinary project teams. Knowledge of basic structural concepts and terminology.
