POSITION OVERVIEW
: Chair Technician to design seating solutions to meet client product requirements for Hussey's Fixed Seating product lines. Responsible for planning the drafting and scheduling portion of projects with efficiency, achieving both high quality and profitable results. This position has responsibility for large, high-profile projects such as NFL football stadiums and NBA basketball arenas. Some examples have been the Toyota Center in Houston, home of the NBA Rockets, Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, home of the NFL Steelers, and Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Responsible for interpretation of architectural documents in conjunction with sales order information to create quality submittal packages for client approval. Manage own work schedule and priorities commitments to ensure on-time completion of assigned tasks. Coordinate review meetings to go over drawing updates prior to submit to client. Keep track of and document all changes that would impact production. Keep milestones updated to accurately reflect the status of each project number. Create Bill of Materials for manufacturing parts. Construct comprehensive installation drawing packages for installers. Work with engineering to provide ETO solutions and assist with part drawings and item creation. Perform site visits to collect field information. Work multiple projects concurrently.

Project management and execution skills. Ability to develop plans, prioritize and achieve results. Strong analytical and computer skills in the following areas: AutoCAD, Inventor, Word, and Excel.   • able to pick up on minor differences or inconsistencies. Construction industry and building code familiarity. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural prints. Reliability

  • able to adapt to unique drawing and scheduling requirements per project.
Ability to travel, including international travel. (Would not typically be less than one week notice) Proactive in looking for ways to improve personal processes as well as company processes within own responsibilities.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
: 2 or 4 year Technical Degree and/or 5 plus years of experience. Drafting experience working in a manufacturing or other technical field is desirable. Knowledge and experience using Autocad and Inventor is highly desirable.
