Entry-Level CAD Technician

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time, limited term employment (LTE) position available in our Lansing, MI office for an Entry-Level CAD Technician, for a maximum of six (6) months. Depending on work load and staffing needs, potential for full-time permanent employment may be available, thereafter.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing civil engineering design drawings and construction plans related to airports Completing minor design calculations Collecting and reviewing data provided by teammates for inclusion in airport layout plans Preparing record drawings utilizing as-built redlines and other construction record data Reviewing for quality assurance and quality control Maintaining company CAD standards Attend internal project meetings Some travel may be required Successful candidates must have: Associate degree (or higher) in Engineering or related field --OR-- If no degree, must have at least two (2) years of relevant experience The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: CAD design software, Civil 3D (preferred), and/or Revit GIS software and analysis Interest in aviation/airport development Organizational skills Working with team members in different offices Microsoft Office software If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com /careers .
