Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Orthodontic CAD Designer to join our design team. This role is responsible for designing orthodontic appliances using CAD software while following prescriptions, lab protocols, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly accurate, computer-savvy, and comfortable working in a production-focused environment with deadlines. Previous orthodontic lab experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. Training is available. Key Responsibilities Design orthodontic appliances using CAD software Follow prescriptions and lab protocols precisely Make adjustments and refinements based on feedback from supervisors or doctors Maintain consistent quality standards across all designs Meet daily production goals and turnaround times Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding design questions or issues Required Qualifications Strong computer skills and comfort working with digital design software Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely Good time-management skills and ability to work efficiently Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new software and techniques Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Basic understanding of orthodontics or dental anatomy Previous orthodontic or dental lab experience Experience with orthodontic CAD software Familiarity with digital impressions and 3D models Background in orthodontic or dental laboratory environments Work Environment Computer-based role in a lab or manufacturing environment Ability to focus for extended periods while working on detailed designs Deadline-driven production setting
