Drafting Full Job Description Job Description:

We are searching for a highly motivated individual to join our CAD Design team. This position will require at least entry level knowledge of SolidWorks and the ability to draw parts with minimal direction from the lead designer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using SolidWorks. Collaborate with design team members to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications. Create technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for manufacturing and assembly. Perform design analysis, model validation, and make adjustments based on feedback. Maintain and organize SolidWorks files and design documentation. Assist in the creation of product prototypes and refine designs based on testing and analysis. Troubleshoot design issues and recommend solutions to optimize functionality, cost, and performance. Ensure that designs adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Up to a year experience as a CAD Designer/Drafter with proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Strong understanding of engineering design principles and drafting standards. Experience in creating 2D and 3D drawings, models, and assemblies. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Metal manufacturing experience is preference Associates degree in Drafting is preferred but not required if candidate can prove skill
