The Mechanical Designer / Drafter position is an Entry-Level role that will utilize Autodesk Inventor 3D software to design stainless steel food processing systems. They will create detailed drawings of Inventor models and assemblies and will assist in creating Engineering Layout Drawing (ELD) to create sheet metal parts for fabrication.

Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm

Full Responsibilities:

Design stainless steel food processing systems in Autodesk Inventor 3D software Create sheet metal parts for fabrication on laser and press brake, tube components and weldments, pipe components and weldments, and complete mechanical assemblies Assist with Engineering Layout Drawing (ELD) generation based on design parameters from the Project Engineer Create detailed drawings of Inventor models and assemblies after ELD approval for release to manufacturing Production planning, including: Mechanical release from engineering to manufacturing Coordinate purchasing of special or custom materials Plotting all drawings.

Requirements:

AS in Drafting & Design. Required AutoCAD Inventor or other 3D design software experience. Preferred Experience with sheet metal and structural steel. Preferred Experience with SAP. Preferred Must pass an initial background check and drug screening (including marijuana) #ST101

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
