Job Description

For 90 years, Edelbrock has been an iconic name in the performance aftermarket industry. Our legacy of innovation includes some of the world's most revolutionary intake manifolds and cylinder heads for racers and enthusiasts alike. All products are designed, engineered, and tested using advanced manufacturing processes at our U.S. facilities to ensure premier performance and quality. The CAD Designer is responsible for creating and updating CAD models and technical drawings for new and existing products. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens NX or SolidWorks and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage the assigned vendor portfolio ensuring transparency of spending. Develop and detail CAD models based on guidance from Design Engineers Generate 2D drawings and technical documentation for new product designs Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes or improvements Perform 3D scanning of castings and machined components for reverse engineering or analysis Ensure drawings comply with internal standards and industry best practices Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure accurate documentation and design intent Maintain organized records of all CAD files and revisions Other duties as assigned
Software & Tools:
Siemens NX (preferred) SolidWorks Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience/Skills Required:
Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field CAD certification from an accredited program (preferred) 2+ years of experience in CAD drafting or design, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Experience with 3D scanning technologies is a plus
