Job Description
Job Overview Seeking a detail-oriented Engineer Designer to support the design and production of custom architectural millwork and cabinetry. This role is responsible for creating accurate shop drawings and production ready designs that translate client and architectural concepts into manufacturable solutions. Duties Create detailed shop drawings and layouts for custom millwork projects Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirements Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Production Teams to ensure design feasibility Prepare cut lists, material specifications, and CNC ready files Revise CAD drawings based on client feedback Ensure designs meet quality standards, building codes, and project timelines Support production and installation teams with technical guidance and problem-solving Maintain organized documentation of design files Experience 2+ years of experience in design, drafting or engineering support Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks or similiar Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks or similiar Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings Strong understanding of materials, joinery, and woodworking processes High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and collaboration skills Good attitude a must
