Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and detailed plans that support architectural, engineering, and construction projects. Your expertise in CAD software and drafting techniques will be essential in translating concepts into clear, accurate visual representations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, from interior design and mechanical systems to system design and graphic presentations, ensuring all drawings meet project specifications and industry standards. Duties Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and 3ds Max. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to interpret project requirements and produce accurate schematics and system designs. Create detailed models for interior spaces, mechanical systems, or construction layouts that align with project timelines and specifications. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including construction drawings, schematic diagrams, and graphic design elements. Review and revise drafts based on feedback to ensure precision and compliance with industry standards. Assist in the development of 2D animations or visualizations to enhance project presentations. Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and project documentation for easy access and version control. Qualifications Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, Bluebeam, or similar tools. Strong understanding of drafting principles across disciplines such as construction, mechanical design, interior design, and graphic design. Ability to interpret technical schematics and translate them into detailed digital models. Knowledge of system design processes for architecture or engineering projects is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in technical drawings. Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
