Designer Woods strives to be the cabinet and casework supplier of choice for select residential and commercial contractors who value quality, reliability, and innovation. Responsibilities The Drafter will work closely with the Company's General Manager, Project Manager, and Engineering team to develop detailed designs and shop drawings for primarily residential cabinetry and casework projects. Create detailed designs and shop drawings for primarily residential cabinetry projects Interpret architectural plans, specifications, and design intent Coordinate with project managers, designers, production staff, and customers Prepare drawings for manufacturing and installation Assist with material takeoffs and project documentation Revise drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications & Skills Experience drafting cabinetry, millwork, or architectural woodworking projects Skilled communicator able to lead meetings and collaborate with homeowners, general contractors, and external designers Proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD highly preferred Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods and materials Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and deadlines Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
