Nashua, NH Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer (Creo) to join our team. The position will be located in Nashua, NH.RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with product development engineers to create high speed connector product CAD models as per their input and feedback Employ best modeling practices and advanced feature techniques to capture design intent, and to facilitate design changes and data reuse (expanding design concepts into product families and derivatives) Create and maintain internal and customer CAD drawings of components and assemblies Participate in design reviews, interface with Development, Mechanical and Signal Integrity, and Process EngineersQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors or Associates Degree in Engineering, CAD, or a related field 3-4 years Creo Parametric experience. Proficiency in Creo Parametric Release 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 High level of Creo Parametric modeling and assembly design skills, specifically: Advanced part and assembly features Reference geometry and shared data Feature patterns and copies Surfacing, quilt operations Top-down design techniques Family tables Detailing, dimensional and geometric tolerancing (GD&T) Familiarity with industry standard drafting and detailing practices (ANSI, ASME) Knowledge of manufacturing technologies (stamping, molding, plating) a plus Knowledge of Windchill PDMLink 11 or 12 a plus Knowledge of Windows 10 operating system and standard MS Office applications Demonstrated attention to detail, thoroughness in work, and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, with minimum supervision Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrentlySimilar jobs in Nashua, NH
