The Technical Detailer position at ShowFab handles: Assisting the Technical Design team in producing fabrication drawings and organized drawing packages. Utilizing CAD/CAM and other software to support fabrication solutions for a team of highly skilled and dedicated craftsmen. Supporting the development of 3D models, assemblies, and Bills of Materials. Updating drawing packages based on internal reviews and redline markups. Assisting with CNC-ready geometry preparation and basic CAM workflows. Coordinating with Project Management, Production, CNC, Graphics, and Scenic departments. Maintaining organized Vault file structures and revision control. Supporting field measurements, documentation, and survey integration as needed. Learning modern fabrication workflows involving CNC Routers, Lasers, Press Brakes, and related technologies.
