Job Description

Description Contract to direct position for a Mechanical Designer to draft rotating machinery drawings. Training will be given to support the design, documentation, and manufacture of motors and industrial fans. Work closely with the mechanical engineers to develop detailed design drawings and specifications for the manufacture of rotating equipment. Equipment includes electric motors and vane-axial fans. Maintain and update the engineering drawing library, engineering standards, and computer systems. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Requirements AAS Mechanical Drafting, CAD Certification, and/or relevant work experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills, good computer skills, an excellent work ethic and expert technical capacity. Proficiency in Solidworks 3D CAD and DraftSight 2D CAD. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Mechanical Drafting. Ability to take Solidworks 3-D models and create accurate and detailed 2D drawings. Ability to create 3D models, or modify existing 3D models of complex parts using Solidworks. Experience with GD&T. Ability to successfully obtain a security clearance. #ERGx
