Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an onsite CAD Designer to support a large initiative dealing with model based design in Alburquerque, NM . The CAD designer will convert engineering concepts into production CAD models and drawings. Responsibilities of the
CAD Designer Includes:
  • Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using CREO/Pro-E
  • Partner closely with engineers and researchers to develop, interpret, and refine mechanical design concepts and detailed drawing packages
  • Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to ensure designs are manufacturable, meet project schedules, and align with material and process requirements
  • Manage engineering documentation, revision control, and approvals within Windchill/PDMLink and other product data management systems.
  • Apply GD&T principles and mechanical design best practices to support accurate manufacturing and product development.
Qualifications of the
CAD Designer Includes:
  • High School Diploma + 3 years of experience in CAD
  • Experience creating 3D solid models, large assemblies, and mechanical drawings
  • Hands-on experience with PTC/CREO, Windchill/PDMLink
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and be able to pass a government background check Compensation of the
CAD Designer Includes:
  • Compensation range: $60,000 - $80,000 + Relocation Package for national candidates
